JOB SUMMARY
Assist the driver in safely operating the truck to complete assigned deliveries or pick-ups of household goods shipments. Perform or assist in the safe packing, loading, or unloading of household goods shipments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have reliable transportation to our facility’s location in Foxboro, MA.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
- Must be willing to undergo a criminal background investigation check.
- Above average energy, attention to detail, and organization skills.
- Ability to lift 50-75+ pounds regularly.
- Available for 6:30–7:00 AM start time at our facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist driver operate and drive truck safely to and from its destination while making every effort to ensure the safety of any passengers, outside motorists, pedestrians, and cargo.
- Act in a safe, positive and professional manner at all times.
- Perform, or assist in the safe loading or unloading of household goods at customer residences or at our warehouse facility.
- Act as the leader and on site manager of a crew when instructed to by management staff.
- Assist in the packing or crating of personal effects needing protection for safe transport.
- Assist in the unpacking or uncrating of personal effects that were protected for safe transport.
- Assist in the removal of debris from a customer’s residence.
- Address general concerns or questions from customers, other team members, or vendors.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance while acting as a professional company representative.
